Mark your calendars! The third annual Coweta Grand Prix, presented by Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America, returns to downtown Newnan on Saturday, April 19, 2025!
​
This exciting, family-friendly FREE event kicks off at 11:00 AM on East Broad Street (new location - bigger hill), and it’s all in support of a great cause. Proceeds benefit the Coweta Community Foundation and help fund the Yamaha Downhill Dreams Academy, where local students build and race their own soapbox cars—gaining hands-on experience in STEM, leadership, and teamwork.
​
As our Executive Director, Scott McInnis, puts it:
“We’re looking forward to our best race yet in downtown Newnan, and it’s an event where the whole family can participate.”
​
Come cheer on the racers, enjoy the Foundation ice cream truck, vendors, music, and more—there’s something for everyone! It’s a fun way to spend your Saturday and support local youth at the same time.
